Invitation to register in build.hk – Online architectural information platform
The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) is the supporting organization of the project, build.hk, which has been highlighted by the Chief Executive in the Policy Address Agenda 2010 – 2011 (paragraph 2 of page 32). build.hk is the first online architectural information platform in Hong Kong funded by Create Hong Kong of the Government of the HKSAR and organized by Internet Professional Association (iProA). The project aims at showcasing and promoting the Hong Kong architectural industry to local and overseas architectural markets.
The main features of build.hk include:
lAn interactive and easy-to-search online database of architectural design files, architects profiles and architectural students’ thesis/information
lInformation management system allowing architects to input company background, awards, building photos, building graphics, building 3D model etc
lA regularly updated showcase of building design awards, competition, promotion and exhibition
A bi-lingual version of the platform will enable your projects to reach a wider range of audience in more countries (Simplified Chinese version will also be available in 2nd phase)
Build.hk has been launched since April 2011, in which Registered Practices and architecture schools students have been subscribing to. To enrich the database and further promote architecture excellence, individual members are cordially invited to join by subscribing to a FREE membership account and showcasing up to 10 of your projects in the platform for FREE (selected projects may also be displayed in future exhibition and road shows to be organized by iProA).

Please kindly submit your personal information and project information by filling in the enclosed Registration Form by 30 December 2011 (Friday).
