簡介/ Tour Introduction

繼遊山遊學系列，春登大東山爛頭營百年石室建築群，夏遊蒲台島崖上天后誕竹戲棚，秋季便去嘗嘗塱原濕地南北行！
當天早上從上水MTR站起步，往「塱原自然生態公園」，園區內由漁護署安排考察。
至園區之前經松柏塱客家圍村，之後經河上鄉 (並自由午膳)，以及登大石磨 (海拔183米) 俯覽塱原和北部都會區其他範圍，沿途侯、羅兩博士導賞歷史建築和生態環境。
回程下山後，沿梧桐河步往上水MTR站。

It is a seasonal hiking series with CPD credits. In the spring, the first hike was to study the century-old stone cabins of Lantau Mountain Camp on Sunset Peak. In the summer, the excursion to Po Toi Island included a guided tour to the fascinating bamboo opera house erected on the cliff during Tin Hau Festival.  Autumn is coming.  Let’s explore Long Valley wetland and its surroundings.
In the morning, the walk will start from Sheung Shui MTR Station to Long Valley Nature Park. AFCD colleagues will arrange a guided tour in the Nature Park.
The walk before and after the Nature Park will pass through the walled Hakka village at Tsung Pak Long, Hau Clan’s ancient village at Ho Sheung Heung (with free time for lunch), and then up to Tai Shek Mor (183mPD) where we can enjoy a panoramic view of Long Valley and other areas under the Northern Metropolis plan. Dr Hau and Dr Law will introduce the historic and ecological aspects in the journey.
From Tai Shek Mor, the group will return to Sheung Shui MTR Station through another hiking route along Ng Tung River.
