Dear Members,
On behalf of the Institute, we cordially invite your submission to the HKIA Annual Awards 2024.
This year’s Annual Awards commenced right after the wonderful exhibition at HKIFC for last year’s winners. We began with a major review on the jury system, with an aim to provide more focused and thorough judging for members’ submissions. The new jury system is as follows:
- The HKIA Medal of the Year / HKIA Award will be judged by a panel of 5 members consisting of 2 overseas jurors, a lay juror, an HKIA senior member and a young architect.
- The HKIA Special Award will be judged by another 6-members jury panel consisting of an environmental and BIM specialist, a lay juror, a young architect, plus our President Ar. Benny Chan and 2 past Presidents.
- The President’s Special Prize, following last year’s successful remodelling, will also be judged by President Ar. Benny Chan and 2 past Presidents.
Hereby we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to this year’s jury panel for their participation. Their contribution is crucial for upkeeping the standard of the HKIA Annual Awards.
