Science-based targets provide companies with a clearly-defined path to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Agreement goals, helping prevent the worst impacts of climate change and future-proof business growth. Why over 2,000 businesses and financial institutions globally are setting science-based targets (SBT) to reduce their emissions in line with climate science to limit warming to 1.5°C. What is considered a SBT? How to validate it?

Tony WONG of Alaya Consulting, a ESG specialist, will share his experience supporting corporates to set and validate their science-based targets. In particular, he will share about specific SBT requirements for architectural firms and property developers.

MK LEUNG of Ronald Lu & Partners (RLP) will share his company’s journey, challenges and specific actions as an architectural practice to plan, carry out, check and continually pursue stronger climate actions in RLP.
