Hong Kong, 19th April 2013 - The Hong Kong Institute of Architects and Hong Kong Arts Development Council participated in the 13th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition with an exhibition focusing on the vital urban, architectural and cultural regeneration of Kowloon East, Hong Kong. The exhibition, titled "Inter Cities / Intra Cities: Ghostwriting the Future" has now returned to Hong Kong, appropriately titled "I AM HOME", and will run from the 18th May in Hong Kong until the 18th June 2013.
The exhibition received International acclaim and was voted as one of the "top five international arcitecture events at Venice" by The Architect's Journal at the 13th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition, which is regarded as one of the most prestigious Architecture events in the world. INTERIOR DESIGN magazine (USA) voted the HONG KONG exhibition as one of Autumn's five most inspiring exhibitions in the worls.
"I AM HOME" response exhibition will continue this discussion with the public in Hong Kong. It takes the form of a roving exhibition, a radically transformed service truck visiting three locations within Kowloon Eat. The design of the exhibition reflects the high density of Kowloon East and will portray a secret studio of the ghostwriters of our city. The exhibition hopes to generate a discussion about t future of Kowloon East and invites the public in Hong Kong to engage with this exciting and rapidly changing district of Hong Kong.
Opening ceremony of the "I AM HOME" Response Exhibition, followed by a public forum about the Future of Kowloon East, has been scheduled for 18th May 2013 with details as follow :

"I AM HOME" will take on the form of a roving exhibition and will be open to the public at various locations within Kowloon East :
18th May - 18th June : Fly the Flyover01, 126 Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong
3rd - 9th June : Tsun Yip Street Playground, Kwun Tong
10th - 18th June : Upper Ngau Tau Kok Estate Entrance Plaza, Ngau Tau Kok
19th June - 18th July: OCTA Tower, 8 Lam Chak Street, Kowloon Bay
Opening hours of the exhibition will be from 10am to 6pm. Free Admission.
