Regional Architectural Awards Open Call for Entries

The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) announces its call for entries for the ARCASIA Awards for Architecture (AAA) 2016. The awards celebrate the very best work produced by architecture professionals in Asia, organised by the Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA), which consists of nineteen national or regional institutes of architects from the Asian region, including the HKIA.

The AAA will be open at the same time as the ARCASIA Students’ Architectural Design Competition 2016, under the theme of Green Lifestyle, to be open for entries on 21 March. Full-time students of architecture or related courses accredited by respective ARCASIA member institutes are encouraged to compete with unique ideas that addresses sustainability in the built environment in their respective countries and regions.

To find out more about how to enter the competitions, please visit arcasia.org or aca17hk.com.

Shortlisted entrants will be featured in the 17th Asian Congress of Architects (ACA17), to be hosted by the HKIA in Hong Kong for the first time in September, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Winners will also be announced at a glittering awards ceremony on 29th September during the Conference. The Conference and Students’ Jamboree are sponsored by CreateHK, the Government of the HKSAR.
