Co-hosted by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) and the The International Union of Architects (UIA), the UIA 2024 International Forum will take place in Kuala Lumpur, from 15 to19 NOV 2024 (Friday to Tuesday).  

The Hong Kong Institute of Architects as the Organiser, The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects, The Hong Kong Institute of Planners and The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors as collaborating parties, are organising a delegate group to the Outreaching and Professional exchange programme to Malaysia and the UIA World Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia subsidised by The Professionals Participation Subsidy Programme (PSP) . 

Tentative Itinerary:

14  Nov 2024 (Day 1) PM: Departure from Hong Kong & Arrival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia & Exhibition Installation
15 - 17 Nov 2024 (Day 2-4): Attending UIA Forum, including HKIA's parallel session, at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia
18 Nov 2024 (Day 5): Visit of Merdeka 118 and heritage architecture
19 Nov 2024 (Day 6): AM:  Kuala Lumpur City Tour,  PM:  Departure for Hong Kong
[Post-event activity] Participation in a public sharing tentatively to be held at HKIA Premises in Dec 2024 / Jan 2025

Eligibility: Full member / Fellow of HKIA, HKILA, HKIP & HKIS
Quotas: max. 38 persons for HKIA; max. 4 persons for HKILA; max. 4 persons for HKIP & max. 4 persons for HKIS (on a first-come-first-served basis)

Full Members and Fellows of HKIA, HKILA, HKIP & HKIS are welcome to express interest (EOI) to register for the trip by completing the online form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScVmdj0oUysEKfDOJg7uUnGl7Haiw4-uld74vNdNyGjszGDRw/viewform by 20 SEP 2024 at 5pm. 

Reimbursement (Saving HK$4,591 at most)
Participants who fully participated in the programme are eligible to apply for reimbursement from PSP on the following items: -
1. Round-trip flight tickets in economy class HK$2,036 X 90% = HK$1,832.4
2. Hotel Accommodation HK$3,065.4 x 90% = HK$2,758.86 (5 nights, Check in on 14 Nov & Check out on 19 Nov)

Please note that 90% of actual expenses capped at the amount listed above would be reimbursed by PSP through respective institutes' secretaries. The rest of the 10% and the balance exceeding the approved amount will be borne by your own.  Participants shall submit receipts, flight tickets and hotel portfolio for PSP's approval via respective Secretariat.  More details would be provided in a briefing session tentatively to be held in late Sep.
