The development situates in an urban context with a hustle and bustle Ching Cheung Road at the north which segregates the site from the mountain. The design targets to reconnect nature with the city, through creating an urban oasis with a distinct architectural setting. Two towers of same height but different footprints are positioned at an angle to form a communal space in-between. By using cantilever form, the towers not only gain more office space at high levels but also free up the ground floor for different kinds of activities and functions, also it generates an interesting architectural dialogue between two towers. The courtyard formed by two towers is three-dimensionally expanded as a 2-storey stepping-form podium with F&B functions and podium garden for the enjoyment of the public.
The proposed development will ultimately generate a sustainable, livable and vibrant office and commercial precinct which becomes a new district focus.
