An ICON Reimagined
Since 1967, an iconic blue and white building has been standing west of the lush Signal-Hill-Garden and North of the Middle-Road Playground. It has been the home for overseas seafarers who craved for holiday on dry land. After 50 years, the original building has gracefully made way to a new sleek 50 storey building that blends the Mariners’ club with an upscale Hotel in order to provide modern amenities and service to the seafarers. The integration of the Club with the Hotel is seamless while maintaining their respective autonomy and characteristics in their daily operation. The iconic blue and white is reimagined with new material while soaring up high to-the-sky symbolizing the Mariners’ club in reaching new heights with its integration with the new hotel. The Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong added a new energy to the building that serves modern hospitality to seafarers and beyond.
