Kwu Tung North Multi-Welfare Services Complex (MWSC) is an 8-storey building managed by ArchSD, providing 1,750-places residential care homes for the elderly with facilities of care-attention home, day activity centre cum hostel for other physically challenged elderly. Site area is approximately 10,300m2 with total gross floor area of approximately 44,000m2. The entire building process has adopted Building Information Modelling to ensure the cycle from planning, design, construction to operation stages is highly efficient and collaborative among different stakeholders.

Architecturally, all dormitories were constructed by Modular Integrated Construction and Multi-trade Integrated MEP. Smart Site Safety System was implemented to monitor high-risk activities with innovative smart safety devices to identify potential hazards under controlled environment, which works seamlessly with Digital Works Supervision System. The positive outcome has demonstrated that technology is not just to benefit construction process but to realize home automatic in future that uplifts human wellness.
