Nested at the entrance of Mai Po Nature Reserve, the WWF Jockey Club Mai Po Peter Scott Visitor Centre is a dedicated hub for the conservation and management of wetland ecosystem, environmental research and immersive learning experiences. Peter Scott Visitor Centre is a 2-storey building with a dynamic and public ground floor that welcomes visitors with its Learning Centre, Jockey Club Gallery, a gift shop and Kingfisher café. The upper floor comprises of accommodation rooms, meeting and training rooms for researchers and staff.
The redevelopment of Peter Scott Visitor Centre had enhanced its capacity to deliver high-quality education, ecological training and researches which have transformed the facilities into a “21st century nature classroom” which is also aligned with the Government’s vision in promoting wetland conservation.
