The Former Nanhai County Community is located on Liurong Street in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, covering a total area of 4.28 hectares with a building area of approximately 106,800 square meters. The buildings there, primarily two to four-story Western-style or a blend of Chinese and Western architecture, were established in the 1920s and 1930s and served as a residential area for returned overseas Chinese. The layout of two streets and three building-groups has remained for nearly a century. The micro-renovation mainly involves minor repairs to the buildings, upgrading public infrastructure, and optimizing public spaces to revitalize the community.
