Sinopec No. 1 gas station is located in the riverside landscape belt on the edge of Suzhou Creek, near the junction of the Huangpu River and Suzhou Creek. Its original site was China's first state-run gas station, built in 1948. Therefore, the focus of our design is how to break through the original model of gas stations and form an infrastructure gas station building with public transparency, appropriate circulation lines, complex functions and contemporary context.
