Julu Road No. 675 was designed by the legendary architect Laszlo Hudec and began construction in 1926, completed in 1931. This building is not only the residence of the famous industrialist couple Liu Jisheng and his wife during the Republic of China period, but also an important heritage in the history of modern Shanghai architecture, witnessing the historical changes in the development of the city of Shanghai.

In addition, the building has been the office location of the Shanghai Writers' Association since 1953, and many literary masters have worked here, adding a rich cultural atmosphere.
