Architectural Assistant (Master degree)

Domat is a design studio focusing on social architecture through critical exploration. We are a not-for-profit practice working for a fair society and sustainable world, with a passion for architecture. Working within a small, enthusiastic team with a knowledge-sharing culture, we explore ideas in-depth, making things by hand, and be critically fundamental. We place an emphasis on care and beauty to design for sustainability.

We are looking for candidates who are interested to challenge the norm and socially responsible, interested in research, implementation and appreciation in architecture. Through our practice, candidates will gain hands-on experience contributing to community projects in Hong Kong. You can involve at all stages from concept design, building submissions to construction, directly engaging with end users and stakeholders. We embrace the attitude of 'one of all, and all for one'.

Architectual Assistant

• Master of Architecture (minimum 1 year working experience)
• Recent HKIA/ ARB registered architect, soon to be qualified candidates may be considered

We are looking for all-rounded people who are:

• Genuinely interested in Architecture and design,
• Proficient from hand sketching to CAD,
• Keen to hand craft, design through physical modelling,
• Sensitive to creativity and aesthetics,
• Patient and can communicate clearly,
• Fluent in both English and Cantonese is a must
• Able to work both independantly and with a team,
