Call for Curatorial Proposal for Hong Kong Collateral Event at La Biennale di Venezia 2025 (The 19th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition) and Roving Exhibitions

The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Biennale Foundation (HKIABF) and Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) hereby invite interested curator/curatorial teams to submit a curatorial proposal to echo the Venice Biennale's official exhibition title "Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.", by way of application for the captioned exhibitions (VB and Roving Exhibitions) and thereof participate as the Curator/Curatorial team (‘Curator’):-

1. Hong Kong Collateral Event at La Biennale di Venezia 2025 from 8 May - 23 Nov 2025 in Venice, Italy
2. Roving Exhibition in a B&R country tentatively in Q1 of 2026
3. Roving Exhibition in a city of the Mainland tentatively in Q2 of 2026
4. Roving Exhibition in Hong Kong tentatively in Q2 or Q3 of 2026
All subject to the availability of funding.

Please submit 3 outdoor and 7 indoor proposed exhibits and suggested roving exhibition locations in the proposal.  For details, please refer to the brief (DOWNLOAD HERE).

13/9 (FRI) at 3:00pm (Hong Kong Time)

A Briefing Session will be held tentatively on 4 Sep 2024 (WED) at 7:00pm at HKIA Premises (19/F, 1 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong). Please complete the registration form (https://forms.gle/B1Qk5xmRTvW8ir6h8) on or before 3 Sep (TUE) at 6:00pm (Hong Kong Time). A confirmation email will be sent out by the event day at 2:00pm (Hong Kong Time).
