Call for Members to Join HKIA Volunteer Team - Support for Wang Fuk Court Fire Incident
Dear HKIA members,
The recent Tai Po Wang Fuk Court fire, which occurred on 26th November 2025, has caused significant casualties and displaced numerous families. As a professional institution rooted in Hong Kong, the Council of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) is rallying support to assist in responding to and recovering from this incident.
To strengthen our capacity to respond effectively to community needs, we are establishing a Volunteer Team comprising interested HKIA members. This initiative will enable us to mobilize professional expertise and support promptly when volunteering opportunities arise. We will compile a list of volunteers and will provide it to the HKSAR Government and the Agency for Volunteer Service (義務工作發展局) for their reference in coordinating assistance efforts in the short and medium term.
We invite interested members to join the team by completing the online registration form via the link below by 2nd December 2025 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM. In the form, please provide your contact details and indicate the time periods during which you are available to serve. This information will allow us to coordinate and deploy volunteers efficiently when relevant projects and initiatives require support. Once registered, members of our Volunteer Team will be our first point of contact for appropriate volunteering opportunities.
