Dear HKIA, HKIS, HKIP and HKILA Members,

 

ARCASIA Forum 23 in India (Delhi, Jaipur and Agra) - EOI in Application for Participation - Outreaching and professional exchange programme to Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, India and 2026 23rd ARCASIA Forum in India.


The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) as the Organiser, The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA), The Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) and The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) as collaborating parties, are organising a delegation to the Outreaching and Professional Exchange Programme to India and the ARCASIA Forum in Jaipur, India. The programme will take place from 7th to 14th September 2026, and is subsidised by the Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme (PASS) - Professionals Participation Subsidy Programme (PSP).

Applications are now open for Full Members and Fellows of HKIA, HKIS, HKIP and HKILA to express their interest (EOI) in joining the programme. Please complete and submit the online EOI form by 19th June 2026 (FRI) at 5pm.

Reimbursement (Approved Maximum Subsidy Level: HK$ 7,500)

Participants who fully participated in the programme are eligible to apply for reimbursement from Professionals Participation Subsidy Programme (PSP) for the following items, up to the approved maximum subsidy level for each item:

 

  1. Travel cost (Air tickets between Hong Kong and Delhi): HK$4,400

The maximum duration of stay in a transfer location for a connecting flight or other modes of transport is 24 hours. For flight fares1, only cost of the economy class air ticket at the most economical fare level is covered.

 

  1. Accommodation cost (a) Agra (3 nights); and (b) Jaipur (3 nights): HK$3,100

For cost of a hotel stay, only cost of a standard single room in a four-star hotel (excluding meal cost) at the most economical room rate is covered.

 

Please noted the following important notice before EOI:

1. This EOI served as an expression of interest only. Successfully enrolled members will receive an email notification by the end of June 2026.

2. Subject to final approval under PSP scheme, successfully enrolled members will enjoy a subsidy up to 90% of the actual expenses on flight tickets and accommodation, capped at the approved amounts. Participants have to bear the rest of the 10% and sum exceeding the approved amounts.

3. Registration fee to attend the ARCAISA Forum and the tour are not covered by the government fund. Participants have to enrol and pay the ARCAISA Forum registration fee on the ARCASIA' website by their own.  (Early Bird rates are available until 30th June 2026. 4. The PSP subsidy will be provided on a reimbursement basis, subject to your full attendance at the activity concerned. Participants without full attendance to the programme are not be eligible to apply for reimbursement of claims according to the Government's requirements.

5. Successfully enrolled members shall take up duties assigned by the HKIA (e.g. preparations for professional exchanges, post event public sharing, details to be announced in due course).
