Architecture meets Innovation at HKIA!
On 21 May 2026 (Thursday), the HKIA Board of Mainland and Belt & Road Affairs (BMBRA) welcomed over 170 members and guests to our hybrid seminar, “Bridging Practice and Innovation: Technology and AI Application in Design and Building Industry” .
Moderated by Ar. Roy Liu, Deputy Board Chair of BMBRA, the event featured Ar. Henry Man, Deputy Committee Chair of the Professional Development and Liaison Committee, who shared practical insights on AI integration in architectural projects. In addition, several guests also shared their insights. We are sincerely grateful to the following individuals: Ms. Jackie Wong, CEO of Chain Technology; Ms. Helen Huang, Sales Manager (GBA) of NewTechWood; Ms. Penney Chong, Co-founder & CEO of Green Vigor; Dr. Celeste Lai, Chief Project Officer of A-grade Energy; and Mr. Ivan Choi, Business Development Manager of I2Cool. They respectively introduced Digital Twin solutions, eco-friendly recycled deck tiles, a hydropower recycle system, CdTe solar glass and energy storage systems, and radiative cooling paint. We also appreciate the support of Ms. Fion Fong and Ms. Cindy Tso from HKSTP, as well as HKSTP itself as a supporting organization.
