Dear Members,
The Hong Kong Humanity Award, organised by the Hong Kong Red Cross since 2007, is the first award of its kind in Hong Kong. It aims to pay tribute to individuals who exemplify the very spirit of humanity by putting it into practice and action.
As an eligible nominating body, the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) is pleased to invite members to express their interest or recommend outstanding peers who have made exceptional humanitarian contributions to the community—whether through their professional architectural expertise or personal dedication.
HKIA will review all internal submissions to select and endorse nominees for the 19th Hong Kong Humanity Award and Hong Kong Humanity Youth Power 2026.
Award Categories & Objectives

Objective: Recognises individuals with outstanding humanitarian contributions in three core areas: protecting human life, caring for the health of the vulnerable, and respecting human dignity.
Criteria: Nominees should act proactively or participate in long-term humanitarian contributions as a role model.
