Discussion with the DEVB - New Incentives for Urban Renewal: Bonus Plot Ratio & Cross-District Transfer Plot Ratio Arrangements

The HKIA is pleased to host a joint seminar with the Development Bureau (DEVB) to brief members on two recently announced key initiatives regarding bonus plot ratio and cross-district transfer of plot ratio arrangements. These bold measures aim to enhance financial viability and drive private sector participation in tackling Hong Kong’s urban decay.
This seminar provides an essential platform for architects to understand the core mechanisms, technical implementation details, and updated guidelines. It is also an excellent opportunity for HKIA members to share our views with the DEVB from a practitioner’s point of view and based on real-case scenarios.
