CPD Seminar: CIRCO – Creating Business through Circular Design
Date: 28 October 2026

Most of a building’s material value is fixed at design — and lost later in demolition waste, materials that cannot be recovered, and fit-out with a short life. CIRCO is a hands-on method from the Netherlands that helps design and project teams find that lost value and turn it into a circular proposition. It has already been used by more than 3,500 companies and 900 creative professionals worldwide.

The seminar will introduce how the CIRCO method works internationally, how Hong Kong practitioners are acting as circular change agents in the built environment, and what a CIRCO Track asks of a design practice. Participants will gain insights into how circular design approaches can be applied in practice and support the transition towards a more circular built environment.
