HKIA Dragon Boat Team Wraps Up a Rewarding 2026 Season

As the 2026 dragon boat season comes to a close, the HKIA Dragon Boat Team looks back on a series of memorable races, shared experiences and encouraging results.
On 20 September, the team participated in the Darkness Fighters Mid-Autumn Charity Dragon Boat Cup 2026 at Deep Water Bay and was pleased to win the championship title in the Mixed Small Boat Gold Plate Cup at this meaningful charity event.
On 3 October, the team competed in the RSCP (The Recreation and Sports Club for Hong Kong Professional Bodies) Race in Shek Mun, securing another championship. We are grateful for the encouragement and support of Ms. Julia Lau, President of HKIA, and Ms. Ruby So, Chairlady of the Sports Committee.
To conclude the season, the team was invited by China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited to participate in an invitation race at Runway 1331 on 4 October. The team also had the opportunity to experience its first-ever dragon boat tug-of-war race, finishing as 2nd runner-up in the Gold Plate Cup.
Beyond the race results, this season has been a rewarding journey of teamwork, dedication and shared enthusiasm for the sport. A sincere thank you to all team members and supporters for their contributions throughout the season. We look forward to welcoming more members to join us next year!
