The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) as the Organiser, The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA), The Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) and The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) as collaborating parties, are organising a delegate group to the Outreaching and Professional Exchange Programme to Incheon and the Asian Congress of Architects in Incheon, Korea from 10 to 14 Sep 2025, subsidised by Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme (PASS).

Full Members and Fellows of HKIA, HKILA, HKIP & HKIS are welcome to register for the programme by completing the Google form on or before 14 Jul 2025 at 5 PM.
Event schedule are as follows.


Tentative Programme: 10-14 September 2025

10 September 2025 (Day 1)
AM:

Departure from Hong Kong

• Arrival in Incheon, Korea

PM:

• Option 1: ARCASIA Emergency Architects (AEA) Excursion to Integrated Operation and Control Center (IOCC)

• Option 2: Architectural visit to Songdo Central Park, Tribowl, National Museum of World Writing
  (Participants can choose either Option 1 or Option 2 for the afternoon session)

Evening:

• ARCASIA Awards for Architecture Ceremony
  (All participants will attend the ARCASIA Awards for Architecture Ceremony in the evening)

13 September 2025 (Day 4)

14 September 2025 (Day 5)

AM & PM:

• Architectural Visit to Incheon Airport Terminal 2 (Designed by Gensler)
  (All participants will attend the above visit)

• Departure for Hong Kong

Reimbursement (Maximum total saving of HK$4,900)

Participants who fully participated in the programme are eligible to apply for reimbursement from Professionals Participation Subsidy Programme (PSP) on the following items, and the approved maximum subsidy level for each item are:

1.  Round-trip flight tickets in economy class HK$1,700 (*All enrolled members must arrive Korea by noon on 10 Sep 2025 to participate in the full program)
2.  Hotel Accommodation HK$3,200 (4 nights, Check in on 10 Sep & Check out on 14 Sep)

Please be advised that while PSP office may reimburse up to 90% of actual expenses, this is not guaranteed and will be capped at the specified amount for each item above. Participants have to bear the rest of the 10% and sum exceeding the approved amounts.

Participants must submit flight tickets, hotel folio and the receipts for PSP office's consideration through the respective secretariats. Further details will be provided in a briefing session tentatively scheduled for mid-August.

All spending, other than the items above, is self-finance, include but not limited to:
- travel insurance
- registration fee for ACA21 ( 제21차 인천 아시아건축사대회 - The 21st Asian Congress of Architects  )
- local transport, including intercity transportation,  and meal costs
- admission fee for visits (if any)
 

Please note the following important notice:
1. Successfully enrolled Members will receive an email notification by 14 July 2025. 
2. Subject to final approval under PSP scheme, successfully enrolled members will enjoy a subsidy up to 90% of the actual expenses on flight tickets and accommodation, capped at the approved amounts. Participants have to bear the rest of the 10% and sum exceeding the approved amounts.
3. Other spendings, including but not limited to, travel insurance, registration fee for ACA21, costs of local visit, local transportation & meals are NOT covered by the PSP funding. Participants have to pay the fees on their own. 
4. By submitting this, members confirmed that they will attend the full programmes arranged by HKIA. Participants without full attendance to the programme will not be eligible to apply for reimbursement of claims according to the Government's guidelines.
5. Successfully enrolled members shall take up duties assigned by the HKIA (e.g. preparations for professional exchanges, post event public sharing, details to be released in due course).
