Registration Open, until 31 Aug 2025, 5PM! ARCASIA Emergency Architects (AEA) Training 2025
Date: 10 September 2025

The ARCASIA Emergency Architects (AEA) Training 2025 equips architects of ARCASIA Member Institutes with critical skills for effective disaster response and resilient rebuilding across Asia. Guided by leading experts, participants will master the Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) Cycle, from understanding hazards (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes) and assessing community vulnerability, to planning emergency shelters and logistics during crisis response. The program delves into technical skills like flood modelling, applying Sphere standards, and hazard assessment tools, alongside resilient design principles for different zones. Crucially, it emphasizes cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibilities, sustainable practices, and the "Build Back Better" approach for long-term community recovery and risk reduction.

Date and Time:

9 Sep (TUE): 10:00am - 6:00pm

10 Sep (WED): 10:00am - 6:00pm

11 Sep (THU): Self-study time

12 Sep (FEI): 1:00pm - 3:00pm
