HKIA is organising a bridging course to update the previous SOPP panel of adjudicators, ensuring they meet the requirements for inclusion and recognition under the Ordinance. The participants will be qualified to apply for the listing under the HKIA List of Adjudicators for SOPO (Security of Payment Ordinance) upon completion of the course and passing the assessment.

To achieve the Objective with public recognition of credibility and proficiency, the course topics includes the substantive nature, legislative intent and outcome as well as the ethics including conflict of interest, and the practice procedures prescribed by SOPO. Common Topics under SOPO and the previous HKIA Adjudication Accreditation Courses will not be repeated.

The Course will gear towards the professional edges and capabilities of HKIA Architects to proficiently and confidently act as SOPO Adjudicators in delivering the SOPO Objectives.
