Celebrating World Architecture Day cum the Mid-Autumn Festival Together🌕

October 6, 2025, marks the “World Architecture Day” (WAD) for the year 2025, which coincides with this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival on the same day. On this special day celebrating both occasions, HKIA would like to wish everyone a “Happy Mid-Autumn Fest” & a successful and meaningful “World Architecture Day”.🎊
The theme of WAD this year is 'Design for Strength', promoting strength in design, the built environment as a platform for resilience and the importance of sustainable rebuilding.
The “World Architecture Day” was established by the International Union of Architects (UIA) in 1985 and is observed on the first Monday of October each year. Its aim is to raise global awareness of architecture and promote the joint efforts of architects and residents toward sustainable living environments 👏🏻👏🏻
