Follow up to the Social Media Post Concerning the HKIA/ARB Professional Interview

Dear HKIA members,
Following up on an inappropriate public post on social media immediately after the HKIA/ARB Professional Interview on 25 March 2026, HKIA has taken immediate action to issue a formal warning letter to the Interviewer, with a subsequent formal face-to-face meeting convened by the HKIA Vice President, the Chairs of the Board of Educational Affairs, Professional Assessment Committee, and Professional Interview Subject Panel. The Interviewer has been seriously warned of the breach of confidentiality for Professional Assessment and his inappropriate posting, and that the interviewer would be suspended from the Professional Interview.
The HKIA remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding the integrity, impartiality, and fairness of its qualifying mechanisms, ensuring that the high standards of our profession are rigorously maintained. Likewise, the HKIA/ARB is committed to maintaining a professional assessment environment that is fair, impartial, and strictly confidential, thereby ensuring the credibility and integrity of the Professional Assessment process.
