The International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) World Congress is recognized as the largest annual gathering for the landscape architecture profession.
 
The 61st IFLA World Congress will be held on 10-12 September 2025 in Nantes, France. As the HKILA is preparing for the 62nd IFLA World Congress 2026 to be hosted in Hong Kong, we are organizing an outreach group to Nantes, France for members and allied institutes.

Note 1: The technical tour is subsidized by the Professionals Participation Subsidies Program (PSP).Participants who have fully participated in the program are eligible to apply for PSP reimbursement. Earlier arrival, stay behind after the trip and skipping the planned program may affect the reimbursement application.

The maximum amount of subsidy is 90% of the actual cost incurred for flight tickets and accommodation only and with a limit capped by PSP at HKD $15,700. The reimbursement shall be at the discretion of PSP. The rest of the balance exceeding the approved amount as well as other expense will be borne by the participants. Participants should submit receipts, flight tickets and hotel folio for PSP’s approval via HKILA Secretariat. HKILA would contact successful applicants for flight and hotel arrangement separately.
 

For the avoidance of doubt, the following are self-finance items. The list is not exhaustive:-

• Registration fee of IFLA World Congress
• Gala Dinner
• Technical Tour (Subject to flight time)
• Local transportation and meals
• Travel insurance etc.

Note 2: Successful enrolled members are expected to assist in arranging itinerary, setting up exhibition booth and contributing to professional exchange with other institutes etc. More details would be provided in due course.
