Council Election for 2026-2027: Call for Nomination

The Council Election for 2026-2027 is open for nomination and its results will be announced at the Third Quarterly General Meeting scheduled for 18 September 2025. I hereby invite your nomination of HKIA Members to the 4 vacant posts of Ordinary Member of the Council, whose terms of office shall start on 1 January 2026 and end on 31 December 2027.

According to Rule 33 of the Institute "Any two or more Members may nominate candidates for the offices of President, Vice President, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and for ordinary Membership of the Council". To ensure that the nomination is in compliance with The Rules of the Institute and valid, please make sure that the Nomination Form is signed by at least two nominators and fulfils all requirements set out in The Rules of the Institute.
 

Submission of Nomination
The Nomination Form can be downloaded HERE. The duly completed and signed Nomination Form (both hard and soft copies) together with a passport size photo* of the nominee must be delivered on or before 15 August 2025, Friday, 12:00noon by hand at HKIA Premises, 19/F, One Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. (*soft copy of the Form and photo could be submitted by email to councilelection@hkia.org.hk). Submission of Nomination Form by fax or by email only would not be accepted. Please note that each Form will be applicable for one nomination only and late submission after the deadline will not be processed.
