The project is adjacent to Longhua East Road in Shanghai, with a total construction area of 46,550 square metres, including 31,370 square metres above ground and 14,600 square metres underground. Characterised by its internationality, uniqueness and sustainability, this project is so far the only international museum within China and the unique Expo thematic museum in the world. The main construction body of the project includes: the Historic River Valley and the Cloud Hall. The project started in 2013 and was officially put into use in 2017, free to the public.
