In recognition of the demand from society for professional project management of building and construction projects, HKIA is committed to nurturing and recognizing professionals capable of managing projects with high quality and established standards. According to the HKIA Member survey in 2023, the data highlights the predominant role of project administration among the respondents, rated 56%. We are exploring the development of a new HKIA-recognized Project Management specialist qualification to help members expand their professional opportunities.
The purpose of this consultation forum is to gather input and feedback from our members on the proposed project management qualification scheme. The speakers will share their views and ideas, along with personal experiences from industry experts, highlighting practices and lessons learned in project management. We want to hear your views and suggestions.
This is an important first step as we work to kick off discussions with relevant government departments and finalize the qualification program. Your participation and insights will be invaluable.
