We are excited to invite you to participate in the Global Architecture Student Contest 2025, a prestigious competition with over 20 years of history. This contest has brought together more than 1,300 architecture students, 554 teachers, and 224 universities worldwide. Hong Kong will be participating in this global event for the first time.

The competition offers a real-world architectural challenge, focused on creating solutions for better living and sustainable construction. The 2025 contest theme,  "Attracting Youth,"  involves both new construction and renovation projects in a region impacted by a large-scale infrastructure development. The goal is to revitalize nearby villages and towns through innovative architectural solutions. Projects will be judged on both architectural design and sustainable construction practices.

Aligned with university schedules, the project timeline includes online training programs from September 2024 to January 2025. The local project presentation will take place on 8 May 2025.

Participation is free, and the winning team will receive full sponsorship to represent Hong Kong at the international competition in France. The total prize will be up to €11,500, with additional local prizes for Hong Kong teams, including awards for Champion, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up.

Each team can consist of up to three students (from 1st-year Bachelor's to final-year Master's) and one faculty advisor. While Bachelor's students are welcome, we recommend this contest for Master's students due to the complexity of the topic.

3 students(Max) of 1^st year of bachelor's degree to last year of master's degree with 1 teacher per team will be allowed.(In 2025 academic year)
It is suggested for master students as the topic might be too difficult for bachelor students.
